Job description
About the Role
Join a well-known FMCG business with a long heritage and a portfolio of much-loved brands. This opportunity is designed for a motivated marketer who wants to broaden their experience across brand, digital, social, and consumer-facing activity. You will take ownership of selected brands, including 180 Degrees and Arnott’s Gold, and help shape how they are represented across market channels.
The position offers practical, hands-on exposure to brand campaigns, content, social media, activations, and digital execution. It is suited to someone who is proactive, curious, collaborative, and eager to build a long-term career in marketing while learning in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver brand campaigns and promotional activity across assigned portfolios.
- Help bring partnerships, events, and experiential activations to life.
- Manage social and digital delivery for the New Zealand portfolio, including content development.
- Track brand, social, competitor, and market performance, then convert findings into practical actions.
- Keep the NZ website current and aligned with brand standards.
- Support broader marketing projects and contribute to brand planning.
Success in This Role
Within the first 12 months, you should have built strong working relationships across the business and become a dependable contributor to the marketing team. Campaign execution should become more polished and coordinated across channels, while the social presence becomes more engaging and locally relevant. You will also grow in confidence taking ownership of campaigns and sharing insights that help guide brand priorities and growth.
About You
This role suits someone early in their marketing career who is ready to take on more responsibility and grow quickly. You may be a Marketing Graduate, Marketing Coordinator, or Marketing Executive looking for broader exposure.
Additional Information
The business is experiencing strong growth in New Zealand and is investing further in brand strength and local capability. You will report to the Savoury Senior Brand Manager and work closely with teams across sales, category, supply chain, and agency partners. The role is intended to help you gain breadth, build capability, and accelerate your marketing career.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
You will gain exposure to a wide marketing remit, develop digital capability, and work on brands that are widely recognised and genuinely valued by consumers. The environment is suited to someone who wants to learn quickly, take initiative early, and make a meaningful contribution while growing professionally.
Who This Role Is Best For
This position is ideal for someone who wants to build a career rather than simply hold a job. It will appeal to a person who is curious, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership while learning from experienced colleagues.
