About the Company
Egis is an international consultancy, engineering, and operations business focused on helping solve major modern challenges such as climate change, the shift to digital, and the demands created by population growth. The company works on smart, sustainable infrastructure, transport, and buildings to support long-term value for communities.
Role Overview
This position sits within the marketing communications function and comes at a period of strong growth for Egis. With leadership and team structures across the UK and Ireland having been brought together, and with significant infrastructure investment taking place in both markets, the role will support the company’s wider brand expansion plans.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing Communications for the UK and Ireland, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering joined-up marketing and communications activity across multiple channels. The role is aimed at strengthening the brand, supporting commercial growth, and advising business and technical leaders on campaign direction. You will also oversee Marketing Executives and ensure marketing activity remains closely linked to business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver marketing activity that supports commercial priorities.
- Guide technical and operational teams on how campaigns should be developed and delivered.
- Produce engaging content and contribute to improving digital marketing performance.
- Handle budgets, external agencies, and supplier relationships.
- Make sure campaigns are consistent with both regional and group-level initiatives.
- Assist with employer branding and internal employee engagement efforts.
- Track campaign results and prepare performance reports.
- Coach team members and work closely with commercial colleagues.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably within engineering, infrastructure, or professional services.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic, creative, and digital marketing.
- Proven experience running campaigns, managing budgets, and supervising junior colleagues.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- A degree in marketing, business, or a similar discipline.
Additional Information
EGIS is an equal opportunities employer and values diversity across its workforce. Applications are reviewed only on the basis of experience, essential and desirable criteria, and overall suitability for the role. The company emphasizes an inclusive culture in which employees are listened to, respected, and able to contribute meaningfully.
Who Should Apply
This opportunity is suited to experienced marketing communications professionals with a background in campaign management and stakeholder engagement, particularly those with exposure to engineering, infrastructure, or related professional services environments.
