About the Role and Company

Salomon, established in 1947 in the French Alps, is a leading global innovator in outdoor sports gear and lifestyle products. Part of the Amer Sports group, the company is focused on empowering people to explore and excel in outdoor pursuits. As a Marketing Co-ordinator based in Moorabbin, Victoria, you will support the execution of marketing campaigns and brand initiatives throughout Australia and New Zealand, ensuring consistent and effective brand representation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the PR agency briefing process aligned with brand and campaign strategies
  • Oversee outreach programs involving key opinion leaders, ambassadors, and athletes
  • Organize and implement product seeding activities, including logistics and tracking
  • Support social media content planning and local community engagement initiatives such as S/Plus activations
  • Assist in organizing marketing events and activation rollouts
  • Coordinate marketing asset creation, delivery, and briefing across retail, trade, and digital channels
  • Collaborate closely with creative, brand, and digital teams for briefing and producing creative assets
  • Maintain strong partnerships with external printers and suppliers to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Handle purchase orders and invoice management with up-to-date tracking documentation
  • Support execution of brand campaigns and seasonal marketing activities
  • Work collectively with Salomon’s technical representatives, sales, retail, and merchandising teams to align product and campaign priorities

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is organised, passionate about outdoor sports, and experienced in coordinating marketing events from start to finish. You should have solid knowledge of marketing basics, including social media, digital platforms, content creation, and campaign reporting. Strong writing skills are essential for engaging diverse audiences across multiple channels. Experience in basic photography—capturing content via phone or camera—and the confidence to contribute creative ideas and briefs are highly desirable.

You must be able to juggle multiple projects efficiently, adapt to shifting priorities, and deliver excellent results on deadline. A data-focused mindset is important, with the capability to analyze and clearly communicate campaign performance and key metrics through reports and presentations.
