Job description
Role overview
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. The position supports the rollout and refinement of automated customer communications across a range of digital touchpoints, with a particular emphasis on reporting, analytics, and translating data into practical marketing insight. You will monitor campaign outcomes, spot opportunities to improve performance, and share clear recommendations with stakeholders. The role also includes helping create marketing materials while keeping all communications aligned to brand standards.
About the department
The Marketing function develops and promotes finance offers that support the sale of new and used cars, along with the customer communications that follow. It is split into two teams: Marketing Programmes and Communications. The team’s work includes running quarterly marketing programmes for retail and fleet, coordinating communications for the network, handling internal and customer-facing messaging with a digital emphasis, and tracking campaign performance for improvement.
Key duties
- Help plan and launch customer communication campaigns across multiple digital channels and using different technologies.
- Track campaign performance continuously, reviewing commercial outcomes, customer experience metrics, and compliance requirements.
- Build, maintain, and improve digital communication tools such as personalised product videos that support Customer Understanding under Consumer Duty.
- Analyse data and produce insight-led reports that inform business decisions.
- Support the creation of marketing collateral and promotional content when needed, working closely with internal teams, external agencies, and OneToyota organisations.
- Keep brand guidance current and applied consistently across communication channels, including regular content checks and message alignment.
- Contribute to ad hoc initiatives linked to business goals and regulatory obligations.
Growth opportunities
- Compare practices with other TFS markets and external financial services providers to identify useful ideas and innovations.
- Take part in Kaizen and TWOW activities to improve processes and workflows.
- Suggest new approaches and working methods as business needs and data capabilities change.
- Build awareness of macro and microeconomic factors that may affect customer communications.
Reporting ownership
- Own the timely delivery of reporting and insights, including trend analysis, actionable recommendations, and root-cause investigation for stakeholders.
