About the Role

Washington County is hiring a full-time Marketing Assistant for the Dixie Center, a key event venue in Southern Utah. This position offers a wage of $22.15 per hour along with benefits. The role combines marketing, customer service, and operational support in a lively environment, including oversight of the Rosenbruch Museum Gift Shop.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and oversee social media posts and assist with website content updates.
Create marketing collateral such as flyers, brochures, signage, and digital ads.
Deliver outstanding customer service at the front desk and support event clients’ needs.
Help with administrative tasks including bookkeeping and maintaining office organization.
Manage the Rosenbruch Museum Gift Shop’s daily activities, including inventory control, merchandising, and vendor liaison.
Supervise and train gift shop sales staff and seasonal workers, handling scheduling and team support.
Organize educational tours and contribute to special projects and events coordination.

Qualifications & Skills

Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related discipline with at least two years of relevant experience; or equivalent education and experience combination.
Experience in communications, public relations, tourism, visitor services, or hospitality convention industry preferred.
Proven creativity, organization, and attention to detail.
Strong customer service orientation and effective communication abilities.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting and work both independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency with social media platforms and Microsoft Office suite.
Valid Utah Driver License required.
