Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support the Amazon Web Services Sales and Marketing Legal team across the Asia Pacific region. This position involves managing administrative tasks, facilitating contract workflows, and improving team processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete process of signing commercial agreements within the APJ region by tracking signature status and maintaining contract databases.
- Compose and dispatch routine communications to business units concerning contract progress, next steps, and pending matters.
- Organize and maintain legal contract archives, ensuring all documents are systematically stored and accessible.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports detailing the status of contract pipelines, unresolved issues, and workload distribution.
- Coordinate calendars, scheduling, and logistical support for the legal team.
- Manage budget tracking and vendor invoice reconciliation for the team.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes and boost operational efficiency within the team.
- Serve as a dependable liaison for coordinating legal and administrative tasks with various business departments.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience as an administrative assistant.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Capable of developing and applying new strategies and procedures effectively.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive employee data with strict confidentiality compliance.
- Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a track record of achieving results.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with legal contracts and contract negotiations.
- Four or more years of education or related experience.
