Role Overview
This position assists the marketing team in various functions, collaborating closely with the Head of Demand Generation to generate sales-ready leads and supporting other marketing colleagues. The Marketing Assistant will engage hands-on with email marketing, video and content creation, social media management, webinar coordination, podcast production, paid advertising, and event logistics, ensuring marketing initiatives are executed flawlessly, timely, and with high standards. This role offers a diverse experience across demand generation, marketing operations, and branding/content disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, constructing, and deploying email campaigns using Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), including segmenting lists, conducting tests, and scheduling sends.
- Create and refine videos and graphics for campaign use, social platforms, and website content.
- Organize and publish social media posts across platforms aligning with campaign and content calendars.
- Manage webinar production end-to-end employing ON24 including setup, testing, promotion, and post-event processes.
- Contribute to podcast episode production from planning through recording, editing, and publishing stages.
- Serve as daily liaison for the agency overseeing SEM and paid social channels by briefing needs and tracking campaign performance.
- Support event arrangements involving logistics, advertising, and on-site assistance as necessary.
- Compile routine reports analyzing campaign, content, and channel performance to guide marketing strategy decisions.
- Provide administrative and coordination support within the marketing team as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Prior experience or strong enthusiasm for email marketing, preferably with familiarity in Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) or equivalent marketing automation tools.
- Fundamental video and graphic editing abilities, with eagerness to develop skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Adobe Express, Canva, or similar software.
- Experience in organizing and publishing social media content targeting business audiences on platforms like LinkedIn or X.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn webinar platforms such as ON24, Zoom, or Teams.
- Interest in podcast production, including recording, editing, and publishing workflows.
- Effective communication skills to manage external agency interactions confidently.
- Strong organizational and multi-task management capabilities to handle deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work comfortably with data and compile straightforward performance reports.
- A proactive mindset with readiness to engage in a wide range of marketing duties.
- Some prior marketing, communications, or related role experience, including internships or placements, is appreciated.
- Exposure to marketing automation systems like Salesforce Account Engagement, HubSpot, or Mailchimp is advantageous.
- Experience managing social media for professional or business purposes.
- Basic video editing proficiency is highly valued.
- A degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is preferred.
