Role Overview
As a Manufacturing Technician based in Singapore, you will work in a cleanroom setting to assemble, test, repair, and support high-value display and wafer fabrication equipment. The job involves hands-on work with electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, along with troubleshooting, inspections, documentation, and occasional software installation or repair support.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and instructions to assemble, repair, and test a range of equipment and components.
- Carry out electro-mechanical assembly, fault diagnosis, and repair work under moderate supervision.
- Receive incoming parts, verify availability, inspect for defects, and help identify process improvements.
- Use test fixtures, electronic measurement tools, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies and subassemblies.
- Maintain accurate job records, including progress updates, labor details, and work-related data entry.
- Support programming, repair tasks, or software installation when required.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma is required.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in semiconductor or display manufacturing, or equivalent experience from another industry or military background.
- Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
- Working knowledge of basic hand tools.
Preferred Background
- Associate degree, technical education, certification, or relevant training is an advantage.
- Interest in building skills through analytical, scientific, or operational methods.
- Strong analytical thinking and practical problem-solving ability using established procedures.

- BSEET (DeVry, TSTC).
Physical and Work Conditions
This position can be physically demanding. It may require long periods of standing, walking, working in confined areas, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, distinguishing colors, and working around noise. The role also involves using hand and power tools and may include operating heavy machinery such as forklifts. Because work may take place in a cleanroom, appropriate personal protective equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be necessary.
