Overview

Siemens Energy invites motivated professionals to join our innovative team as a Manufacturing Production Scheduler. This role is integral to coordinating production schedules to meet customer demand efficiently in our fast-paced additive manufacturing setting. You will interface directly with shop floor operations and collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless production flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously update detailed production schedules aligning with operational capacities and customer requirements.
  • Oversee ongoing production activities, adjusting timelines proactively to prevent delays or disruptions.
  • Work daily with shop floor personnel, addressing issues promptly to keep production on track.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, stores, and logistics to confirm the availability of materials and resources.
  • Monitor work orders, inventory statuses, and performance metrics to support timely product delivery.
  • Analyze production data and generate reports to inform planning and operational improvements.
  • Detect bottlenecks and resource shortages early, escalating concerns as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement strategies aimed at enhancing workflow efficiency and accuracy.
  • Keep production documentation and system data accurate and up-to-date.

Candidate Profile

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Production Controller, Planner, or an equivalent role within manufacturing.
  • Solid understanding of production planning and scheduling principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, spreadsheet management, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with SAP is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface effectively across departments.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, resolve issues, and maintain a hands-on approach in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
