Manufacturing Engineering Specialist - Switchgear Panels

Job Overview

We are looking for an accomplished Manufacturing Engineering Specialist with expertise in Switchgear (SWGR) Panels production to optimize manufacturing workflows, assure product quality, and boost operational productivity on our SWGR production line. This position demands strong knowledge of switchgear manufacturing, excellent problem-solving skills, and leadership in coordinating cross-departmental teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed production documentation essential for manufacturing products, new initiatives, prototypes, and assembly processes.
• Enhance existing manufacturing operations by introducing innovative methods and procedures.
• Identify and implement cost reduction strategies and resolve technical manufacturing challenges.
• Collaborate with technical teams and departments to develop cost estimates for new projects and process improvements.
• Engage in procurement and design processes for handling and manufacturing equipment.
• Partner actively with the Lean Supervisor in executing lean initiatives aimed at eliminating waste.
• Follow all tasks as assigned by direct supervisors within the scope of the agreed work type.
• Adhere strictly to the integrated management system's policies, guidelines, and principles.
• Practice lean manufacturing principles and maintain 5S standards.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company standards.
• Contribute proposals for continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals.
• Respect environmental protection policies within manufacturing operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Proficient knowledge of CAD/CAM software systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing methods, especially Lean Manufacturing principles.
