About the Role
We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer / Test Engineer to join a 3-month onsite project focused on electric vehicle (EV) development with a reputed automotive client near Berlin, Germany. This role involves hands-on prototype testing and quality validation of automotive modules related to electric vehicles. The assignment begins around August/September 2026 and offers a chance to gain meaningful experience in automotive technology and real-world vehicle development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing on automotive modules and physical prototypes.
- Execute test scenarios, identify and report defects.
- Verify the functionality and quality standards of developed automotive solutions.
- Record test outcomes and provide comprehensive feedback to development teams.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and project stakeholders during on-site activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Some foundational experience in manual testing, QA, or validation; automotive experience is advantageous.
- Strong interest in automotive technology, particularly electric vehicles.
- Competence in working with test cases, documentation, and reporting processes.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a methodical approach to testing tasks.
- Must be available to work fully on-site in the Berlin area for the project's duration.
- Good proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to automotive systems, ECUs, vehicle modules, or automotive testing.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and defect tracking tools.
- Experience testing prototypes or hardware components.
