Overview

Our client, a prominent entity within the investment goods sector operating extensively across Central and Eastern Europe, is seeking a seasoned and entrepreneurial Managing Director to oversee Sales and After Sales operations in Slovenia.

Key Responsibilities

• Assuming full accountability for profit and loss, crafting sales strategies and ensuring their effective execution.
• Providing leadership and direct supervision of the local sales and service teams.
• Engaging in proactive acquisition and support of major customers.
• Streamlining commercial and service organizational frameworks.
• Collaborating closely with group headquarters and international manufacturing partners.
• Monitoring receivables and maintaining financial discipline.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience in a senior commercial or general management role within the investment goods field such as construction equipment, commercial vehicles, or agricultural machinery.
• Established network within the Slovenian construction industry.
• Proficiency in English, both written and oral; German language skills are advantageous.
• A results-oriented leadership approach combined with a practical hands-on mentality.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
