Role Overview
The Managing Director for Private Wealth will take charge of the firm’s private wealth franchise, building and deepening relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and carefully selected institutional investors. The position is focused on defining and delivering the private wealth growth agenda, increasing assets under management, widening distribution reach, and establishing the company as a trusted investment partner across both conventional and alternative solutions.
Business Development and Capital Raising
- Drive fundraising efforts aimed at HNW and UHNW individuals, family offices, sovereign investors, and institutional clients.
- Create and implement growth plans that expand client assets and strengthen AUM.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects across Saudi Arabia, the GCC region, and international markets.
- Spot new commercial opportunities and partnership avenues that support expansion goals.
- Represent the organization at conferences, investor gatherings, and professional networking events.
- Develop referral relationships with private banks, external asset managers, legal professionals, tax advisors, and family office consultants.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as a senior point of contact for key client relationships.
- Provide highly tailored service centered on preserving and growing long-term wealth.
- Assess client goals, risk tolerance, liquidity needs, and succession planning priorities.
- Lead periodic client reviews and portfolio conversations.
- Drive strong client satisfaction, retention, and growth in wallet share.
Investment Advisory and Product Distribution
- Work with investment teams to effectively position products to private wealth clients.
- Contribute to the design and rollout of new investment offerings for the private wealth segment.
- Share strategic input on product structure, investor appetite, and market direction.
- Guide clients on investment opportunities, portfolio construction, and market updates.
- Promote solutions spanning private equity, real estate, private credit, public equities, discretionary portfolio management, and structured products.
Leadership and Team Management
- Build, guide, coach, and develop a high-performing private wealth team.
- Set clear performance benchmarks and business development goals.
- Create a culture built on client service excellence, teamwork, and accountability.
- Hire and retain strong private bankers, relationship managers, and wealth advisors.
- Support succession planning and wider talent development initiatives.
Strategic Planning
- Shape and execute the firm’s private wealth growth strategy.
- Define annual business plans, budgets, and revenue objectives.
- Track industry movements, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
- Identify opportunities to expand into new geographies and improve market reach.
- Partner with executive leadership to align private wealth priorities with overall corporate objectives.
Regulatory and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Uphold the highest standards of fiduciary duty and professional behavior.
- Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Operations teams to maintain strong governance.
- Confirm that suitability and appropriateness standards are met for all client recommendations.

Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. A master’s degree such as an MBA is preferred. Professional credentials including CFA, CAIA, CFP, CISI, or a similar qualification are also preferred. Candidates should have a strong grasp of private markets, public markets, and wealth management solutions.
Experience Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, asset management, or investment advisory.
- Proven ability to raise capital from HNW, UHNW, family office, and institutional investor groups.
- Well-established investor network across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
- Strong record of increasing AUM and generating revenue.
- Experience managing senior client-facing teams.
- Solid understanding of alternative investments and private market products.
