Job description

About the role

This position sits within the Finance team and focuses on managing the full accounts payable cycle. The chosen accountant will help keep supplier payments on schedule, ensure invoices are processed correctly, maintain policy compliance, and support observance of Saudi VAT and related financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Check supplier invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and other backup records before processing.
  • Code invoices correctly and enter them into the ERP platform.
  • Organize payment batches and make sure vendors are paid on time.
  • Match vendor statements, investigate differences, and close out issues.
  • Assist with month-end close tasks, AP reconciliations, accrual entries, and aging analysis.
  • Maintain compliance with VAT rules, ZATCA obligations, and internal control procedures.
  • Review repeat service charges and contract-based payments.
  • Support audits by keeping AP records complete and well organized.
  • Help improve ERP usage and contribute to process enhancement efforts.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable.
  • Background in one or more of these industries: Real Estate, Retail, Property Management, Mall Leasing, or Facilities Management.
  • Practical knowledge of Saudi VAT rules and ZATCA requirements.
  • Experience using ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Yardi, or comparable systems.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.
  • Good analytical ability and a strong eye for detail.
  • Preferred: CMA certification, either partially qualified or fully qualified.
  • Preferred: Experience in large-scale or multi-property organizations.
  • Preferred: Exposure to a high volume of vendor transactions.

Additional information

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position is within a confidential hiring setup.

Preferred background

  • CMA qualification in progress or completed.
  • Experience in organizations with multiple properties or large operating scale.
  • Ability to manage a substantial number of vendor transactions.
