Job description

Role Overview

This position calls for a composed, highly organized professional who can support the CEO in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The role involves managing executive priorities, handling administrative work end to end, and ensuring the Chief Executive Officer’s office runs efficiently. Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to solve problems creatively are essential.

Executive Support

  • Oversee the CEO’s calendar, appointments, and day-to-day priorities.
  • Arrange meetings, board-related coordination, and other executive interactions.
  • Review incoming emails, calls, and correspondence, then prioritize what needs attention first.
  • Create agendas, presentations, reports, and briefing documents.
  • Prepare polished correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
  • Monitor action points and follow up to make sure deadlines are met.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as the main contact point for the CEO’s office.
  • Liaise with senior leaders, the Board Secretariat, regulators, and outside stakeholders.
  • Handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and discretion.
  • Support smooth communication between the CEO and different business units.

Meeting and Event Management

  • Set up executive meetings, committee sessions, and leadership forums.
  • Compile meeting packs and presentation materials.
  • Capture key decisions and track the progress of agreed actions.
  • Coordinate executive events and official visits.

Travel and Logistics

  • Organize travel within the country and abroad.
  • Manage travel schedules, visas, accommodation, and expense reimbursements.
  • Make sure all travel arrangements are completed smoothly and on time.

Office Administration

  • Maintain executive records and confidential documentation.
  • Oversee correspondence handling and filing processes.
  • Assist with budget-related administration for the Executive Office.
  • Look for ways to improve the efficiency of executive office processes.

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a similar discipline is required. A professional certification in Executive Administration would be considered an advantage. The role calls for 7 to 10 years of experience supporting senior executives, ideally at CEO level. Background in financial services is preferred, and experience working with boards, executive committees, and senior leadership is expected.
