Role overview
This assignment is for a senior leader to take charge of a German subsidiary of an international industrial technical services business. The mandate is interim in nature and is based in Northern Germany, with a chance to move into a permanent role later on.
The subsidiary currently delivers more than €15 million in yearly revenue and is expected to grow substantially. The ideal person will combine strong commercial leadership with deep local market presence in Germany, and will be able to expand business, reinforce client relationships, and steer the local team effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the German subsidiary and guide its development.
- Build pipeline and win new business to accelerate revenue growth.
- Strengthen and nurture relationships with existing customers and partners.
- Grow the company's technical service portfolio, including maintenance-related offerings.
- Lead, coordinate, and support local operational as well as technical teams.
- Ensure smooth delivery of current service contracts.
- Partner with group leadership on the broader growth agenda.
Candidate profile
The role calls for a commercially focused leader with a strong footprint in Germany and solid experience in B2B technical services. The person should have a proven record of delivering measurable growth and of managing a business unit or subsidiary in the €15 million to €50 million revenue range.
Strong people leadership is important, along with fluency in English, which is the working language of the group.
Preferred background
Experience in aerospace or industrial environments would be an advantage. Exposure to maintenance, metrology, or similar technical service lines is also preferred. An engineering degree is welcome, though it is not essential if accompanied by a strong commercial history.
