Position Summary

This role involves close collaboration with SGX-listed issuers, their Boards, and senior management to provide expert guidance on listing obligations, mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, and governance issues. The position demands independent thinking, strong judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively with Boards and executive teams. It is designed to foster rapid professional growth through significant responsibility, client interaction, and opportunities to lead initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture relationships with a portfolio of sponsored SGX-listed companies, engaging regularly with Boards and C-suite executives.
• Provide advisory services on corporate transactions such as fund-raising, M&A activities, and compliance with ongoing listing requirements.
• Review and assess regulatory documents such as announcements, shareholder circulars, and press statements.
• Offer counsel to Boards and management teams on SGX rules, compliance protocols, and corporate governance standards.
• Prepare necessary submissions and liaise with regulatory bodies to resolve compliance issues promptly and accurately.
• Oversee project timelines ensuring all deliverables meet both regulatory and client deadlines.
• Take charge of various workstreams, anticipate challenges proactively, and deliver practical solutions to clients and internal teams.

Candidate Profile

• Relevant experience spanning corporate finance, auditing, banking, compliance, or legal advisory — typically 3 to 5 years for Assistant Manager roles and over 5 years for Manager positions.
• Individuals from related fields with intellectual curiosity, a proactive stance, and eagerness to assume responsibility and learn swiftly are welcomed.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Proficiency in managing client relationships with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
• A proactive approach to engage senior stakeholders and contribute effectively in discussions.
