Qualifications and experience
The role requires more than 6 years of general tax experience, with at least 5 years ideally focused on international, regional, and national taxation. Background in a Big 4 firm, a law firm, or a large multinational corporate tax function is required. Candidates should bring substantial exposure to corporate tax advisory and compliance, along with strong research, communication, project management, and presentation abilities.
Prior supervisory experience is required. A strong command of tax and business laws and regulations is essential. English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking is mandatory, and bilingual Arabic-English candidates will be preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships and shape tax solutions around client needs.
- Lead client meetings and guide discussions that deliver actionable tax advice.
- Supervise the preparation and review of complex corporate tax filings in line with domestic and international requirements.
- Advise clients on corporate tax matters, restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Monitor changes in local and international tax legislation and evaluate their effect on client operations.
- Assess tax rules to identify planning opportunities and reduce exposure to risk.
- Serve as a visible role model who reflects the firm’s purpose and values.
- Help build strong teams by coaching people through meaningful and challenging assignments.
- Deliver strong client service while driving performance and collaboration across different business areas and geographies.

Requirements
- At least 6 years of overall tax experience.
- Preferably 5 or more years of experience in international, regional, and national taxation.
- Experience with a Big 4 firm, law firm, or a large multinational corporate tax department.
- Strong exposure to corporate tax advisory and compliance work.
- Solid understanding of tax and business law frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and tax research capability.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Demonstrated project management ability.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Fluent English communication skills; Arabic-English bilingual candidates preferred.
