Role Overview
This position is accountable for executing sales strategies to achieve defined order book and revenue targets, focusing on both retaining and growing the customer base. The incumbent manages the full sales cycle from initial meetings, proposal creation, through order completion. This operational role directly influences the performance and outcomes in assigned accounts and business areas.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue objectives and expand sales pipeline.
- Grow the existing clientele by presenting suitable offerings.
- Identify and evaluate customer needs and uncover sales prospects.
- Understand and align with customer expectations and requirements.
- Participate in and deliver presentations at client meetings and internal sessions across company departments to support business expansion.
- Manage detailed account plans for designated accounts or geographic regions.
- Respond timely to sales inquiries and ensure prompt follow-ups.
- Track and report customer insights, competitive market intelligence, and related activities.
- Record qualified sales opportunities accurately in Salesforce (SFDC) and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Collaborate internally with product, solution, legal, commercial, and sales teams to address challenges, prioritize key opportunities, and accelerate deal closures.
- Stay well-informed on product developments and competitor movements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in enterprise sales or account management.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for pipeline and funnel management.
- Strong experience in account management and sales operations.
- Ability to develop and deliver compelling business and technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Proven skill in gathering, understanding, and translating customer business requirements.
