Job description

About GiveCampus

GiveCampus is a fundraising platform built for educational nonprofits and is used by millions of donors across more than 1,300 colleges, universities, and K-12 schools. Its mission is to expand the quality, affordability, and accessibility of education. The company aims to help unlock $100 billion in charitable giving over the next decade, which would be enough to make college tuition-free for more than 1 million students.

The organization is supported by investors such as Y Combinator and has grown profitably over time. It achieved a major growth investment in 2025 that also created a significant liquidity event for employees, following another one within the prior three years. The team includes 130+ people across 30+ U.S. states, operating in a flexible, distributed model. A 12,000-square-foot office in Washington, DC is available for optional use, and the company also hosts team meetups, school visits, and retreats in different locations.

Although the business operates at scale, it still views itself as small compared with the opportunities ahead. Employees are expected to play an active role in shaping the company’s future, including a planned $100 million investment in AI product development. The role is a strong fit for someone energized by education, mission-driven work, and growth.

Role Overview

This is a remote-first position based in the United States. It requires occasional in-person connection through company-wide and team-specific onsite gatherings held several times each year.

The Manager, Partner Success is a hands-on leadership role within the Independent Schools segment. The person in this position will lead a small team of Partner Success Managers while also personally managing a West Coast portfolio of schools. Because of the portfolio, the role requires comfort working with schools in Pacific Time and traveling there regularly.

The ideal candidate is a player-coach who can develop others, drive results, and also remain directly involved with partner accounts. The position calls for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, acts quickly, and balances leadership with individual contribution.

Team Leadership and Coaching

  • Lead and support 4 to 6 Partner Success Managers, helping them build capability, deliver on goals, and improve performance.
  • Establish clear standards and encourage a culture centered on accountability, quality, and shared wins.
  • Run recurring one-on-ones, team meetings, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide timely feedback, hands-on mentorship, and strong examples for the team to follow.
  • Coordinate and facilitate discussions with senior leaders and schools that sit within direct reports’ portfolios.

Partner Portfolio Ownership

  • Manage a portfolio of partner schools and act as the primary strategic contact for them.
  • Offer proactive guidance grounded in data and help schools get the strongest possible results from the GiveCampus platform.
  • Demonstrate best-in-class partner communication, execution, engagement, and senior-level relationship building.

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Work with the department head and cross-functional leaders to define team priorities and improve internal processes.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Partner Success operations, tools, and key performance indicators.
  • Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training for new team members.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Partner with teams across the organization to surface opportunities, solve problems, and advance shared goals.
  • Track team and partner health through dashboards and reports, then translate findings into recommendations.
  • Share themes and learnings from the team to influence product and strategy decisions.

Travel and Onsite Expectations

Partner Success team members are expected to attend multiple company-wide and team-specific onsite events throughout the year, in addition to visiting partner schools in person. Travel is expected at least twice per month.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should bring 7+ years of experience in customer success, fundraising, or SaaS account management. Prior people-management experience is preferred. The right person can move between strategic thinking and practical execution, has experience coaching or mentoring others, and communicates clearly and directly. They should be organized, comfortable setting expectations, and willing to stay hands-on. A strong fit will also be excited about building with a small, committed team and aligned with the company’s values of curiosity, empathy, long-term thinking, and bold action.

Application Notes

Candidates are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet every requirement, as the company recognizes that many qualified people may underestimate their fit. Applicants should also watch their spam and promotions folders for messages related to the process.

Equal Opportunity and Inclusion

The company is committed to building a supportive, inclusive, and learning-oriented environment. It welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, religion, national origin, citizenship status, disability, ancestry, marital status, veteran status, medical condition, or any other protected category under applicable local, state, or federal law.
