Job description

Role overview

Hard Rock International is hiring a Manager of Social Media to shape and guide the digital voice of Hard Rock Cafe, one of the brand’s most recognizable names. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Social Media, this position is central to how the company shares stories with fans and customers across the world.

The role carries ownership of the Hard Rock Cafe social footprint across channels, including strategy, content planning, publishing, and performance tracking. In partnership with the agency of record, this manager will directly oversee the global @HardRockCafe accounts while also advising social activity for properties around the world.

The company is looking for someone who brings strong storytelling instincts, experience managing social channels for energetic multi-brand businesses, and the ability to work well in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. The right person will combine strategic thinking with practical execution and use audience data and content insights to improve performance and grow channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Run the day-to-day social output for Hard Rock Cafe on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn, making sure all content is on-brand, engaging, and effective.
  • Work with senior leadership and the social agency to shape and refine the overall social strategy, including voice, tone, and channel positioning.
  • Handle social coverage on location for events, activations, appearances, and photo shoots, or oversee outside teams brought in to create event content.
  • Collaborate with the Hard Rock Cafe marketing team to naturally weave in promotions, limited-time offers, and new product or service launches.
  • Coordinate with properties, business units, and internal teams to build and deliver integrated social plans.
  • Partner with digital teams to use highly engaged organic audiences in paid media efforts.
  • Give clear direction and a strategic framework to field team members handling social-related work.
  • Work with other social leads to connect Cafe content with the wider Hard Rock ecosystem, including the master brand, Hard Rock Hotels, Hard Rock Bet, and Hard Rock Casinos.
  • Take ownership of community management across all Cafe channels, including fan engagement and participation in relevant cultural conversations.
  • Manage production processes, approvals, and publishing schedules to ensure timely, consistent, and well-organized delivery.
  • Lead creator and influencer initiatives with agency partners to expand content opportunities and meet agreed engagement and performance goals.
  • As needed, coordinate with the Brand Reputation team to observe, escalate, or address sensitive social matters.
  • Track cultural, digital, and industry trends and turn those observations into ideas that keep the brand fresh and relevant.
  • Oversee reporting and analytics, converting performance data into practical recommendations that improve results and support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in social media or digital content, preferably in hospitality, dining, entertainment, lifestyle, or sports.
  • Strong working knowledge of best practices across Meta, TikTok, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing content calendars, campaigns, and production workflows.
  • Comfort using analytics platforms such as Emplifi and turning insights into strategic action.
  • Hands-on content creation skills, with familiarity in tools such as Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or comparable software.
  • Excellent communication and project coordination abilities.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and live events when required.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to convert data into clear, useful recommendations.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, changing environment while coordinating staff and a range of internal and external stakeholders.
