Job description
Position Summary
The Manager – Merchant Acquisition for Real Estate will be responsible for driving the recruitment, engagement, and expansion of real estate clients on the company's digital platform. This job entails fostering connections with property developers, agencies, brokers, and owners while meeting revenue, listing, and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement strategies to acquire merchants within the real estate segment.
- Identify and bring on board developers, agencies, brokers, and property owners to the platform.
- Maintain and develop a robust sales pipeline for both residential and commercial properties.
- Offer advertising packages, listing solutions, and digital services to potential clients.
- Negotiate terms and finalize contracts adhering to approved pricing and internal policies.
- Ensure smooth onboarding, activation, and ongoing support for newly signed merchants.
- Collaborate closely with Account Management and Customer Success teams to bolster merchant retention and revenue growth.
- Track client activities, listing effectiveness, lead generation, and ROI metrics.
- Spot opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional offerings.
- Keep sales pipeline, activity logs, and revenue forecasts accurate and updated.
- Monitor market trends, competitor products, pricing, and new business opportunities.
- Work in partnership with Marketing, Product, Technology, and Operations teams to enhance the merchant experience.
- Generate regular acquisition and performance reports for company leadership.
- Represent the organization at relevant industry events and networking functions.
- Lead and mentor the merchant acquisition team, ensuring clear objectives and accountability.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related disciplines.
- A minimum of eight years' experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, preferably within Qatar's real estate sector.
- At least two years in a supervisory or managerial capacity within a commercial team.
- Established network of contacts among real estate developers, agencies, brokers, and professionals in Qatar.
- Proven success in acquiring clients and meeting revenue goals.
- Experience with digital marketplaces, property portals, classified ads, advertising, or PropTech is advantageous.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, relationship building, and deal-closing capabilities.
- Skilled in managing sales pipelines, forecasting, targets, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Possession of a valid Qatar driving license is preferred.

- Number of newly acquired and activated merchants.
- Revenue generated from new merchants.
- Achievement rate of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Value and conversion rate of the sales pipeline.
- Turnaround time for merchant onboarding.
