About the Team
ADA is Warner Music Group’s independent distribution and label services division. The Marketing & Label Services team supports both emerging acts and established artists by partnering with artists, managers, labels, and internal stakeholders to design and deliver global campaigns. The group blends creative thinking with digital execution, helping partners grow audiences through social, streaming, CRM, and other channels.
Role Summary
This position calls for a strategic marketer with strong experience in both digital and traditional marketing. As Manager of Marketing and Label Services, you will lead campaign planning and execution for independent artists and distributed label partners. The role sits at the point where storytelling, audience growth, and performance analysis meet, and it requires someone who can manage multiple projects, build cultural momentum, and support business growth through inventive, data-informed marketing.
What You’ll Do
- Design and drive digital release campaigns that increase streams, video views, user-generated content, and fan acquisition.
- Work with artists and labels to shape social storytelling and content plans that strengthen brand identity and spark audience conversation.
- Build, launch, and refine paid media campaigns across social and streaming platforms, with attention to audience targeting and return on ad spend.
- Prepare, allocate, and oversee budgets for label services projects, including content production, influencer work, AR, and custom web builds.
- Develop relationships with digital platforms, outside agencies, creators, and influencers to support campaign goals.
- Track campaign results in real time, study UGC trends, and prepare post-campaign reviews to improve future performance.
- Guide the growth of artist communities and digital channels such as YouTube, TikTok, Meta, Discord, microsites, and related platforms.
- Coordinate with Commerce, Label Management, Publicity, and Sync teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned and consistent.
- Stay current on social platform changes, product updates, and new digital tools that can support audience growth.
- Own strategy and execution for ADA’s branded social media presence.
- Provide broader team support and contribute to cross-functional initiatives and special projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in music industry digital or social marketing, with a strong history of paid media, viral campaigns, and managing multiple artist projects at once.
- Strong working knowledge of interactive platforms, website and CRM/email-SMS strategy, and major social channels such as TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Discord, Snapchat, X, Pinterest, and Twitch.
- A clear interest in fan-led digital strategy and awareness of current cultural and social trends, especially among Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences.
- Comfort using data to shape strategy, interpret campaign performance, and communicate insights and patterns clearly.
- An organized, proactive team player who can handle pressure, move quickly with limited resources, and keep projects advancing in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, including confidence in leading meetings with internal teams and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Additional Qualifications That Would Help
- Direct hands-on experience with digital advertising.
- Prior agency background.
- Experience managing or building artist fan accounts that generate user-generated content.
- Exposure to gaming or streamer communities.
- Ability to use design and editing tools such as Canva, Photoshop, Final Cut, or CapCut.
- Familiarity with file-sharing tools, rippers, converters, encoders, and similar applications.
- Experience with project management platforms such as Airtable or Asana.
