About the Company
Glide Brands is part of the group behind the India launches and scaling of The Face Shop, Belif, Dyson, and VoltaLux. The role is based in Worli, Mumbai, close to Acharya Atre Chowk Metro Station on the Aqua Line, and reports directly to the founders.
Role Overview
This position sits within the Founder's Office and focuses on high-impact work across strategy, research, branding, and execution. You will partner closely with the founders to spot global products and brands with India potential, shape new business ideas, and help bring them to market.
Product & Brand Research
- Track global trends, products, and brands that could succeed in the Indian market.
- Carry out market studies, competitor benchmarking, pricing analysis, and commercial viability assessments.
- Turn research findings into business cases and strategic recommendations for the founders.
Marketing Communication
- Create brand positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market plans.
- Build executive-level presentations, pitch decks, and strategic communication for leadership, investors, and external partners.
New Brand Onboarding
- Own the full onboarding and launch process for new brands.
- Work in sync with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Legal, Product, and Supply Chain teams.
- Track launch schedules and build productive relationships with global brand partners.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assess new business opportunities and partnership options.
- Support presentations for the board and senior leadership.
- Contribute to strategic projects and new business initiatives alongside the founders.
Candidate Profile
The company is looking for someone with an engineering bachelor's degree and a full-time MBA from a premier institution such as IIM, IIT (MBA), ISB, XLRI, SPJIMR, FMS, JBIMS, or a comparable top business school. The preferred background includes 3+ years in Founder's Office, strategy, management consulting, product strategy, brand management, growth strategy, or business development. Prior exposure to working with founders or CXOs is strongly preferred.
Success Factors
Strong research ability in products and brands, clear marketing communication, persuasive storytelling, experience in launching new brands, and the ability to manage cross-functional work are key to doing well in this role. The position also calls for strong commercial thinking, a high sense of ownership, and solid execution discipline.
