Overview
Rosewood Red Sea is seeking a Manager for Events & Gallery to oversee polished social, private, cultural, and event-led food and beverage experiences across the resort’s gallery, event venues, and special function areas. This role calls for someone highly organized, service-focused, and experienced in luxury events, private dining, VIP functions, premium banqueting, or gallery-style hospitality. The position blends exacting operational control with a warm, highly personalized guest experience.
The right person will make sure every event or dining occasion is set up accurately, delivered gracefully, and aligned with Rosewood’s ultra-luxury service expectations.
Key Responsibilities
You will take charge of event, gallery, and private dining operations while maintaining the service quality expected by Rosewood, Forbes, and LQA standards.
- Direct assigned event, gallery, and private dining activities in accordance with Rosewood, Forbes, and LQA service benchmarks.
- Manage the full operational preparation for each event, including setup, service sequence, staffing, guest preferences, and timing.
- Work closely with Events, Culinary, Beverage, Stewarding, Engineering, and other partner teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Check event orders, guest profiles, VIP requests, dietary restrictions, and special arrangements before service begins.
- Ensure consistency in service flow, presentation, atmosphere, and guest interaction throughout events and private dining experiences.
- Run pre-event briefings and operational site checks to confirm readiness.
- Address guest concerns and service recovery issues with discretion, professionalism, and prompt follow-up.
- Oversee operating equipment, furniture, linen, collateral, menus, displays, and overall event presentation.
- Contribute to revenue performance through premium offerings, upselling, and disciplined resource use.
- Train and guide team members on event service, private dining etiquette, VIP handling, and attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
This role typically requires 3 to 5 years of Food and Beverage experience, including management exposure within luxury hotels, resorts, events, or private dining operations.
Experience in luxury events, premium banqueting, private dining, gallery-style service, or VIP hospitality is important for success in this role.
Strong organizational ability, a keen eye for detail, and confidence in managing accurate preparation and flawless execution are essential.
You should understand event orders, service sequencing, staffing arrangements, setup standards, and coordination across departments.
The position also requires the ability to handle high-profile guests, private functions, and sensitive service situations with tact and discretion.
A hands-on leadership style, clear communication, commercial awareness, and familiarity with cost, equipment, and resource management are all important.
Experience in pre-opening environments or ultra-luxury resorts would be an added advantage.
