You will identify potential follow-on opportunities within engagements, flag risks early, and communicate issues to senior team members when needed.

You will also bring forward practical recommendations that combine business insight, technology best practices, and thought leadership. The role includes contributing to operational efficiency, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and supporting a collaborative learning culture by coaching and guiding junior colleagues. Client travel can be significant and may reach 60% to 80%.

Client-facing work

  • Help plan and run client discussions such as interviews, workshops, visioning sessions, and document reviews.
  • Produce quality deliverables within agreed timelines and budget expectations.
  • Use data analytics to generate useful insights for clients.
  • Build and sustain productive working relationships with client teams at the right organizational levels.
  • Collaborate effectively with the project team, share accountability, communicate progress, and keep senior leaders informed.

Practice and people leadership

  • Support the expansion and development of the consulting practice.
  • Assist senior leaders with recruiting and capability-building efforts in strategic growth areas.
  • Help create a positive team atmosphere and provide coaching and support to junior team members.

What you should bring

The role calls for a supply chain consultant who is highly motivated, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership in a team setting. You should be able to lead when needed, follow when appropriate, and adapt to changing challenges with a strong problem-solving mindset.

Requirements and qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven project experience with Advanced Planning Software platforms such as Blue Yonder, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9, or OMP, including integration with ERP and/or SCM systems.
  • Hands-on experience improving digital planning across demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, S&OP, and S&OE.
  • Experience creating business blueprints and documenting business requirements.
  • Background in driving change and supporting adoption in large organizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience managing people across multiple projects and guiding team members.
  • Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and embrace new challenges.

Preferred experience

  • Exposure to digital logistics and fulfillment, including transportation, warehouse, and distribution center improvements.
  • Experience implementing ERP, WMS, and TMS modules is an advantage.
  • Manufacturing operations experience is also considered a plus.

Compensation and benefits

EY offers a total rewards package that includes performance-based compensation and a range of benefits designed to support well-being and career growth. Benefits include medical, prescription drug, and dental coverage, a defined contribution pension plan, vacation policy, firm-paid days for extended long weekends, statutory holidays, and paid personal days based on province of residence.
