Job description
About the role
Louis Vuitton Americas is looking for a Corporate Social Responsibility Manager to guide the planning and delivery of its sustainability and DEI agenda. In this role, you will own CSR initiatives, steer complex cross-functional programs, and help improve processes across the business. The position calls for strong knowledge of CSR and DEI, along with a commitment to advancing environmental, social, and equity-focused practices throughout the organization.
What you will do
- Shape and roll out the regional and global CSR roadmap for Louis Vuitton Americas, with sustainability as a core priority.
- Independently run end-to-end CSR projects, including scoping, goal setting, resourcing, scheduling, and risk management.
- Partner on the creation of training materials and help deliver learning sessions focused on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and CSR.
- Track, analyze, and report on CSR data and performance indicators to support decision-making and ongoing improvement.
- Drive internal communication and engagement efforts that build awareness of CSR and DEI across employee groups.
- Create compelling presentations, messages, and other internal content in partnership with the Internal Communications team.
- Lead the DEI Ambassador network and support initiatives that strengthen inclusion across the organization.
- Oversee the Benevity platform for employee giving, volunteering, and engagement programs, aligning activity with CSR and DEI goals.
- Research new CSR and DEI trends, regulations, and best practices, then turn findings into practical recommendations.
- Spot opportunities to improve processes and introduce innovative approaches within CSR and DEI work.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, social, and equity-related regulations, internal standards, and risk controls.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in Corporate Social Responsibility, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, or a closely related field, ideally in a corporate setting.
- Proven experience leading projects from planning through execution.
- Experience with employee engagement platforms such as Benevity is considered an advantage.
- Strong command of CSR principles, environmental topics, social responsibility, and DEI concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate, and present ideas to varied stakeholders.
- Confidence in managing multiple complex priorities while delivering against strategic goals.
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
- Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and develop practical solutions.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement.
- Ability to contribute effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Genuine interest in luxury retail and a commitment to sustainable, equitable business practices.
Compensation and benefits
The selected candidate will receive an annual salary of USD 110,000 to 125,000. The package also includes medical, dental, and vision coverage; short- and long-term disability; multiple paid time off programs; employee discounts and perks; and two retirement plans with employer contributions.
Part-time employees may be subject to restrictions on some benefits.
Work location
This role is based at Louis Vuitton’s corporate office in Midtown Manhattan and requires four in-office days each week.
Additional information
Louis Vuitton values the individuality of every employee and supports an environment where people can thrive and build their place within the company. The organization is committed to promoting professional equality and fostering an inclusive workforce through meaningful action rather than symbolic efforts.
