Job description
About the role
This role is part of the regional clienteling function and is focused on supporting CRM activities across the UK, Ireland, and South Africa. The intern will act as a link between central strategy and store-level execution, helping retail teams use client data more effectively while learning how regional CRM strategy is shaped and delivered.
The position is hands-on and collaborative, involving close work with store teams as well as cross-functional corporate stakeholders. The main objective is to strengthen client retention, acquisition, and engagement through data tracking, campaign analysis, segmentation insights, and store support.
Key responsibilities
- Use Power BI, Salesforce, and advanced Excel to pull, clean, analyse, and present CRM data in a clear and useful format.
- Create and circulate weekly and monthly dashboards that show both regional performance trends and store-level metrics.
- Track store and client advisor activity across key funnel measures such as local sales, appointments, and outreaches.
- Monitor corporate client lists to spot new client engagement opportunities and observe long-term segment movement.
- Review performance across client segments, including client count, sales value, retention, purchase frequency, and average spend.
- Assess the impact of targeted touchpoints and boutique activation channels such as outreaches, completed appointments, events, and gifting initiatives.
- Build and refine segmented client lists for store requirements, product launches, and regional activations.
- Study dormant or unassigned client records and support reassignment to active client advisors so that relationship opportunities are not missed.
- Work with store managers and client advisors to turn data into practical action plans and bespoke outreach ideas.
- Serve as a dependable daily contact for stores on CRM tool issues, list preparation requests, and clienteling guidance.
- Compile performance information to understand how sales and client-facing teams are progressing against CRM goals.
- Support capability mapping, regional coverage analysis, and performance review to improve client allocation and store support.
Profile
The ideal candidate is analytical, retail-minded, and highly motivated to support store teams with actionable CRM insights. A strong interest in luxury retail and VIP clienteling is important, along with the ability to move comfortably between broad regional analysis and precise store-level detail.
Education and background
Applicants should ideally be currently studying for, or have recently completed, a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Luxury Brand Management, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
Technical skills
- Working knowledge of Power BI and Salesforce.
- Strong Excel capability, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
- Ability to analyse large datasets and interpret both high-level trends and granular store metrics.
Soft skills and working style
- Strong attention to detail when handling client lists, event mappings, and reporting outputs.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with both corporate and boutique teams.
- Retail and service orientation, with a focus on helping client advisors perform better on the sales floor.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and translate data into practical actions.
