Job description
Role overview
This position focuses on keeping subsea and offshore operations aligned with contractual obligations, legal and regulatory requirements, and other applicable compliance standards. The role combines contract control, commercial evaluation, cost awareness, and coordination across multiple business functions.
Key responsibilities
- Make sure subsea and offshore activities are carried out in line with the relevant contracts, laws, regulations, and other compliance requirements.
- Prepare and share a project charter before a contract begins, including the RACI matrix, CTR, and delivery roadmap.
- Track contract delivery against the charter, budget, and CTR.
- Organize and manage all pricing work, clarifications, and master records before and after tenders.
- Handle arbitration related to contract interpretation to protect commercial value and reduce risk exposure.
- Coordinate information exchange between Operations, Chartering, Engineering and Construction, Planning and Economics, Marine, Technical, and Crew Manning teams.
- Communicate resource needs such as labour and equipment, and ensure they are available early in line with the mobilization plan.
- Review, circulate, negotiate, and consolidate commercial decisions to achieve the best value with the lowest risk during tendering and contract execution.
- Support bid pricing and provide pricing inputs for review and approval.
- Keep a centrally maintained database of shared costing information.
- Review contract and tender documents to confirm they match project needs and include proper costing and approvals from relevant departments such as corporate finance.
- Take part in audits, inspections, and site visits to verify that services meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee field work tied to contracts and confirm compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications, and codes.
- Ensure compliance with HSE expectations, quality standards, and financial controls.
- Coordinate with vessels and clients for day-to-day operational matters as needed.
- Participate in operational management reviews.
- Carry out any other work-related tasks assigned.
Requirements
- A degree in Law, Finance, or Engineering Management is required.
- PMP certification is considered an advantage.
- Applicants should have 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Oil and Gas, Marine, or EPCIC environments, especially in contracting, contract management, and cost analysis, will be beneficial.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software is needed.
- English must be spoken fluently.
- Arabic language ability is an added advantage.

This is a full-time onsite role in Doha, Qatar. The position requires a strong balance of contract administration, commercial judgment, operational coordination, and compliance oversight.
