Job description
Role Overview
Ernsting’s family is looking for a Manager Business Analytics to support digital tracking and web/marketing analytics activities at its Coesfeld location. The role is embedded in a large omni-channel retail environment with close collaboration across marketing, IT and data teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and maintaining client-side and server-side tracking across the webshop and app, including testing and basic privacy/consent-related requirements such as GDPR and CMP.
- Help manage tracking solutions for digital marketing channels and ensure accurate measurement of conversions and sessions.
- Contribute to monitoring data quality and support the setup and maintenance of alerts when irregularities occur.
- Work closely with colleagues from Digital Marketing, IT, and Data to align on tracking needs and internal data flows.
Requirements
- Initial hands-on experience in digital tracking or web/marketing analytics, for example in implementing or analyzing tracking setups.
- Basic familiarity with tag management systems such as Commanders Act or Google Tag Manager.
- First exposure to server-side tracking is considered an advantage.
- Structured, dependable working style and genuine interest in numbers and data.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain topics to non-technical colleagues.
- Team mindset and willingness to take on increasing responsibility over time.
- Valid work authorization for Germany is required.
- German language skills at fluent level are required.
