About the Company

Inspire Mum & Baby was established in 2007 in Katong and is a family-centred wellness centre. It offers programmes in pre- and post-natal fitness, aqua and swimming, baby and toddler development, and therapy services. The organisation’s mission is to make fitness and healthy living accessible throughout every life stage, including before, during, and after pregnancy, while helping families enjoy a positive shared journey.

Role Overview

This position combines swim coaching with operational and administrative responsibilities. It is well suited to someone who enjoys working with families, likes being active, and is comfortable in a warm, community-driven setting. No previous experience is necessary because full coaching and operations training will be provided, including certification.

Swim Coaching Duties

  • Prepare and lead safe, interactive swimming sessions for babies, toddlers, children, and adults.
  • Conduct learn-to-swim classes, aqua fitness sessions, and, where required, specialised aquatic programmes for pre- and post-natal clients.
  • Evaluate each swimmer’s current ability and build lesson plans that progress appropriately.
  • Offer clear, supportive feedback to swimmers and their caregivers.
  • Help create and maintain a positive, reassuring, and encouraging class atmosphere.

Operations and Administrative Duties

  • Handle class timetables, session bookings, and customer enquiries.
  • Support front-desk tasks and administrative work such as payment handling and data entry.
  • Work with the wider team to improve centre operations.
  • Assist with marketing or outreach tasks when required.
  • Keep the pool area and facility standards aligned with safety, hygiene, and cleanliness expectations.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant enjoys spending time with babies, toddlers, children, and families, and remains calm, friendly, and flexible in a busy service environment. Strong communication, customer service, organisation, reliability, and attention to detail are important. A genuine interest in family wellness and child development is valued. Experience in swim coaching, sports, childcare, or fitness would be helpful, but it is not essential. CPR, first aid, or lifesaving credentials are an advantage, though not mandatory.

Working Pattern

This is a 5-day work schedule that includes weekends, with fixed days off on weekdays.

Training and Growth

The company provides complete training that leads to an internationally recognised coaching certification, and this training is sponsored by the employer. There is also a clear pathway for advancement into Senior Coach or Centre Executive roles.
