About the Digital Transformation Office

The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) is a key strategic division within IMDA's corporate group, committed to leading and managing digital transformation efforts agency-wide. Its mission focuses on crafting and driving comprehensive strategies that align with IMDA's overarching objectives through innovative deployment of emerging technologies and data utilization. The DTO strives to revolutionize existing processes, enhance customer experiences, and instill a culture of innovation. Through continuous collaboration with various internal departments, the DTO ensures digital initiatives are seamlessly incorporated organization-wide, positioning IMDA as a digital frontrunner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders, end-users, and IT teams to collect, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements for Salesforce implementations.
  • Transform business needs into explicit, actionable functional specifications and user stories, ensuring these are aligned with both development teams and strategic business goals.
  • Evaluate current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and suggest automation or optimization opportunities utilizing Salesforce capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce administrators and developers to design, configure, and deploy customized solutions such as workflows, dashboards, and bespoke objects.
  • Lead functional and user acceptance testing to confirm Salesforce configurations accurately fulfill business needs while upholding quality standards.
  • Create reports and dashboards that empower teams with actionable insights supporting data-driven decisions.
  • Organize user training and offer continuous support to facilitate effective adoption and utilization of Salesforce platforms.
  • Serve as an intermediary by maintaining clear communication channels between business units and technical teams, ensuring project alignment and delivery.
  • Continuously monitor Salesforce developments, new features, and industry best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Proactively identify and drive opportunities for Salesforce to deliver strategic value, enhancing operational efficiency and innovation across IMDA.

Candidate Requirements

  • Academic background in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years' experience functioning as a Salesforce Business Analyst or in an analogous capacity.
  • In-depth understanding of the Salesforce platform, notably Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud modules.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Business Analyst are preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks.
  • Experience using project management tools including JIRA and Confluence.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in requirements gathering, process documentation, and drafting user stories.
  • Practical experience in Salesforce reporting and dashboard creation.
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and oral, capable of articulating ideas effectively to a diverse audience.
  • Analytical thinker with a problem-solving orientation and a focus on process enhancement.
