Role Overview

Are you aiming for more than just any job after your studies? Do you want to learn, contribute, and take responsibility as a future hotel manager while fueling your enthusiasm for hospitality? Our Management Trainee Program offers you a path to a promising career at Motel One Group.

Over 12 to 18 months, you will rotate between three hotels on national and international levels, gaining experience in all operational departments. Additional projects and mentorships will help you unlock your potential and deepen your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in on-the-job training across hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Service to grasp genuine hospitality.
• Engage actively in daily operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and enhance the guest experience.
• Develop leadership skills by supporting management, coordinating and motivating teams, and leading your own projects.
• Receive ongoing mentorship and feedback guided by a personal development plan and regular performance reviews.
• Attend internal training and workshops at Motel One Campus to build your network and prepare for future leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in hospitality, tourism, business administration, or from a recognized tourism school.
• At least one year of hands-on experience in various hotel departments; prior leadership experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to be flexible regarding work location including travel commitments.
• Strong desire to accept responsibility, lead by example, motivate teams, and make bold decisions driven by passion for hospitality.
• High social competence with open communication skills and a positive mindset.
• Fluent in both German and English.
• Strong analytical abilities, keen quality awareness, and a pronounced service orientation.
• Structured, independent, and team-oriented working style.
