Job Overview

We are currently seeking motivated and dependable cleaners to join our team in Liverpool, NSW. This full-time role encompasses working various shifts during weekdays and weekends. The position provides award-based pay starting at Level 1, $27.08 per hour.

Working Hours

The roster is Monday to Friday from 12:15 AM to 7:51 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough cleaning and upkeep of glass balustrades, panels, handrails, and adjacent areas to maintain a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness of escalators and travelators, including steps or plates, side panels, handrails, and surrounding spaces.
• Eliminate fingerprints, dust, marks, dirt, waste, and other visible blemishes efficiently.
• Operate cleaning equipment, chemicals, and tools properly and safely at all times.
• Keep escalators and travelators free from debris and presentable.
• Implement wet floor signage and safety barriers as needed to ensure safety.
• Adhere strictly to all site safety protocols, especially when working near moving equipment.
• Report any damages, hazards, faults, or maintenance needs promptly to supervisors.
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks within set timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and follow supervisor directions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior cleaning experience in retail, commercial environments, glass surfaces, or escalator and travelator maintenance is preferred.
• Experience in shopping centers or large commercial facilities is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness standards.
• Capacity to safely operate around escalators, travelators, and other moving machinery.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and physically able to manage cleaning tasks.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willingness to abide by workplace health and safety regulations.
• Training will be provided as necessary.
• Applicants must possess valid work authorization in Australia.
