Maintenance Engineer

Role overview

We are looking for a Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support a fast-paced manufacturing setup in Oragadam. This role focuses on keeping CNC and VMC equipment, assembly lines, and special purpose machines running smoothly by handling repairs, preventive upkeep, and reliability improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Respond quickly to machine stoppages and get production back online with as little downtime as possible.
• Diagnose faults and carry out maintenance on CNC, VMC, assembly equipment, and SPMs.
• Maintain and service spindle, pneumatic, hydraulic, and lubrication systems.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance as well as corrective repair work.
• Use fault tree analysis to identify recurring issues and help improve MTTR and MTBF.
• Support production teams by maximizing equipment availability.
• Work closely with production staff to help meet daily output goals.
• Operate in a high-volume mass production environment.

Required background

Candidates should have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or a B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Practical experience with machine maintenance in a manufacturing environment is important for this position.

Additional information

Salary offered for this role is INR 4,00,000 to 6,00,000 per year. The job is based in Oragadam and is intended for an on-site manufacturing setting.
