About the Role
TCR Group, a worldwide leader in Ground Support Equipment (GSE) services operating in more than 200 airports globally, is seeking a Lube Technician based in Sydney. The company boasts over 1,800 employees and offers essential rental, leasing, and maintenance services critical to airlines and ground handling operations.
This position involves shift patterns of either four days on followed by four days off or a Monday to Friday schedule, with excellent exposure to the aviation sector. TCR Group values diversity and encourages applications from women, Indigenous Australian peoples, and veterans.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply mechanical expertise to repair and perform preventive maintenance on GSE machinery.
- Conduct routine lubrication, fluid replacements, filter changes, and mechanical inspections.
- Assist senior technicians by preparing equipment and handling mechanical duties.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols to maintain a tidy and safe workplace.
- Work collaboratively with fabricators, technicians, and assistants to devise and implement effective mechanical solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate II or higher in Automotive Servicing Technology or an equivalent trade qualification.
- Possession of personal tools required for the trade.
- Valid current driver's license.
- Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic, or electrical systems is advantageous.
- A strong commitment to safety standards and compliance with company policies.
- A proactive attitude with the capacity to work independently, as well as part of a team.
