The business services homes, commercial customers, and BBQ users, and relies on a network of sites and delivery systems to provide fast, dependable LPG supply. Safety, community care, and customer service are central to how the company works.

This position is suited to an experienced driver who can manage LPG deliveries in a hands-on, safety-conscious environment.

What the role involves

  • Transport LPG gas bottles to customer locations.
  • Deal directly with customers in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Carry out stock counts and compliance-related checks.
  • Load and unload gas bottles while strictly following safety procedures.

What the employer offers

  • Access to training and development to support growth and skill-building.
  • Continued employment with a trusted and reputable organisation.
  • A positive workplace that prioritises safety and getting staff home safely each day.
  • Potential for a 40-hour work week in a full-time arrangement.
  • Competitive remuneration.
  • EAP support services for both you and your family.

Requirements

  • Hold a current, clean Class 2 driver licence.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience operating a Class 2 or larger vehicle in New Zealand.
  • Provide a clean Ministry of Justice report.
  • Be physically fit, as the work is demanding.
  • Show a solid work ethic and be comfortable working alone or with others.
  • Be willing to learn and follow directions closely.
  • Forklift licensing and a Dangerous Goods endorsement are beneficial, and the employer can help with obtaining them if needed.
  • Maintain a strong safety mindset, especially when working around hazardous chemicals.
  • Have reliable transport for commuting to and from work.
