Role overview
AutoCanada’s Dodge City dealership in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is looking to add a full-time Lot Attendant for an immediate start. This role sits within a large Canadian-owned automotive group operating across Canada and the United States, where teamwork, customer care, and operational quality are key priorities.
The lot attendant supports the service and sales teams by moving vehicles, keeping the lot organized, and making sure customer and inventory vehicles are clean and ready. The work is hands-on and suited to someone who is comfortable around vehicles, pays close attention to detail, and can work efficiently in a busy dealership environment.
Key duties
- Move customers, visitors, and dealership staff when required
- Help keep the building, grounds, shop, and lot in good condition
- Support both the service and sales departments as needed
- Park and organize vehicles for sale and for service flow each day
- Remove coverings and identification tags before handing a completed vehicle back to the customer
- Check vehicles for dirt, debris, stains, or damage and report any issues right away
- Help with service write-ups and attach tags to customer vehicles
- Assist with shop clean-up and make deliveries when needed
- Clean vehicle exteriors according to seasonal needs, including snow removal
- Flag merchandising concerns or lot issues for the appropriate manager
- Place signs and promotional materials on and in vehicles
- Track and arrange vehicles daily according to their reconditioning stage
- Keep the lot neat, including garbage removal and general tidiness
What the role requires
- High school diploma or GED
- Genuine interest in the automotive field and good familiarity with vehicles
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving history
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Previous exposure to cleaning supplies, cleaning tools, and power washers is considered an advantage
- Dependable and reliable work style
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks well
