About the Role

Steele Auto Group is seeking a dedicated Lot Attendant to join the Steele Volkswagen team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for cars, take pride in their work, and enjoy being part of a team that delivers exceptional customer experiences. While automotive experience is not required, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential. We are committed to providing comprehensive training to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and customer-ready presentation of vehicle displays on the lot.
  • Ensure all inventory vehicles are correctly positioned and showcased effectively.
  • Conduct initial inspections of newly arrived vehicles and report any identified issues.
  • Assist with preparing vehicles for sale, including fueling, charging electric vehicles, and facilitating deliveries.
  • Capture photographs of inventory for online marketing and sales listings.
  • Uphold the cleanliness of the showroom and the entire dealership lot throughout the year.
  • Provide support to the sales and detailing departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Take ownership of ensuring every vehicle presented to customers is in immaculate condition.

Requirements

  • Possess a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of pride in one's work.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and demonstrate a willingness to acquire new skills.
  • Enjoy physical activity and working in an outdoor environment.
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Previous automotive experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Eligibility

This position is open to individuals who possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. A valid driver's license with a clean record is required. While automotive experience is an asset, it is not a prerequisite for application.
