About the Role
Steele Auto Group is seeking a Lot Attendant / Porter for Steele Recreation in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. This is a practical, hands-on position that helps keep motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and other recreational vehicles moving efficiently through the dealership so the sales and service teams can deliver a smooth customer experience.
In this role, you will help ensure vehicles and equipment are positioned safely, prepared properly, and presented well. You will support day-to-day dealership activity, assist with deliveries, and contribute to an organized lot and showroom environment.
The hourly pay range for this position is $18.15 to $20.00.
Key Duties
- Safely move, park, and arrange motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and similar units across the lot and dealership.
- Assist with preparing units for customer readiness, including fueling and charging.
- Help coordinate deliveries and support pickup and delivery runs when needed.
- Keep the showroom and exterior lot clean and presentable throughout the year.
- Make sure every unit is maintained in a polished, customer-ready condition.
- Transport units using a truck and trailer for pickups and deliveries when required.
- Move vehicles in and out of the service area to support technicians and service operations.
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, and reposition units; training will be provided.
- Contribute to a safe, tidy, and professional dealership appearance.
- Handle other general tasks that help daily operations run smoothly.

- A valid driver’s licence and the ability to drive a truck and trailer for deliveries, along with a clean driving record.

- A collaborative, team-oriented approach and flexibility to help wherever needed.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Automotive background is helpful but not mandatory.
- Forklift experience is an advantage, though on-the-job training will be provided.
