Role Overview

Our dynamic operations network, renowned for rapid, accurate deliveries and top-tier customer service, seeks a detail-oriented Loss Prevention Expert to help safeguard our network integrity. This critical position involves delivering security services throughout our operational sites across the entire supply chain to protect personnel and minimize losses.

Primary Responsibilities

• Enhance business resilience by supporting emergency and crisis response planning for your designated sites.
• Identify potential vulnerabilities related to loss prevention, associate safety, and process efficiency, and implement appropriate remedial steps while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Act as the main liaison for security risk management with local leadership and external agencies, including law enforcement and industry bodies.
• Ensure adherence of assigned locations to Amazon's global security protocols.
• Lead Security and Loss Prevention initiatives at local, regional, and national levels.

Daily Activities

As part of a specialized Security and Loss Prevention team, you will oversee security services for multiple business areas within your region. Routine tasks include conducting physical security evaluations, investigating policy breaches and incidents, and analyzing information drawn from monitoring systems, reports, and interviews. Your insights will guide vulnerability mitigation and infrastructure improvements.

You will maintain physical site integrity by auditing and ensuring the functionality of security systems, coordinating closely with subject matter experts and external suppliers. Managing relationships with external security providers is essential to ensure consistent, high-quality security service delivery and a positive experience. Additionally, you will develop and implement educational programs on loss prevention for employees at various levels and manage the deployment of comprehensive Security and Loss Prevention plans.

Embedded within the Global Security Operations framework, this team safeguards Amazon's operational goals and brand reputation by mitigating risks that could jeopardize associates and customers, disrupt business continuity, damage assets, or harm the brand image. We collaborate with stakeholders to secure the supply chain end-to-end by preempting security risks, swiftly addressing incidents, and performing thorough investigations to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• Possession of a degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Preferred proficiency in English including speaking, writing, and reading.
