Overview
RS Rush Transfer Xpress Inc is hiring a long haul truck driver for on-site work in Mississauga, Ontario. The role involves extended travel, and work locations may change depending on assignment.
Language Requirement

No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is needed for this job.
Experience
Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience, but not more than 2 years, in a similar role.
Work Setting
This is a road-based position. The employee must be ready for frequent or ongoing travel, and the work location may vary.
Responsibilities
- Handle the loading and unloading of freight.
- Drive straight trucks or articulated trucks to move goods and materials between locations.
- Check the vehicle’s condition, including tires, lights, brakes, refrigeration equipment, and other systems.
- Carry out inspections before departure, during the trip, and after completing the route, while supervising the overall condition of the vehicle.
- Communicate updates and operational details to the central dispatch team.
- Maintain accurate records for cargo, driving hours, distance covered, and fuel usage.
