About the Role and Team
The procurement department handles logistics-related service procurement and the management of physical suppliers to support the expansion of logistics operations. This team ensures competitive pricing while fulfilling business needs and fosters long-term partnerships with service vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and expansion of TikTok Shop's global fulfillment by TikTok (FBT) warehouse and fulfillment center infrastructure to support rapid growth.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies and lead commercial negotiations involving warehouse automation equipment, packaging materials, and front-end fulfillment and sorting capacity.
- Manage the global supplier network for warehousing, equipment, and materials, including designing supplier evaluation systems and handling risk mitigation and contingency planning.
- Collaborate with business operations, commercial analytics, and strategy teams to create systematic, scalable cost-saving strategies and evolve procurement from ad hoc negotiations to a standardized management approach.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of supply chain management experience, currently or recently in a senior procurement or business lead role at an e-commerce platform or global logistics/fulfillment company.
- Strong expertise in global warehouse supply chains with proven success leading warehouse and freight sortation network development.
- Solid understanding of pricing models and business dynamics in warehouse automation, consumables, and carrier capacity markets.
- Excellent strategic business design and negotiation skills, capable of managing disruptions and complex challenges in global supply chains.
- Preferred: Leadership abilities including wide influence, tolerance for complexity, process institutionalization, and adeptness at cross-cultural and cross-functional collaboration.

Compensation
This position's base annual salary ranges from $225,720 to $462,840, depending on qualifications and location, complemented by discretionary bonuses and equity awards.
