Role overview
This expression of interest is for a Logistics & Interface Officer (Asset Liaison) who can connect site logistics, asset readiness, and stakeholder alignment across major construction work. The position calls for someone who can bring order to fast-moving project environments, keep delivery teams working together smoothly, and help make sure assets are prepared for operations with clear ownership, accurate records, and accountability.
Core responsibilities
- Develop logistics plans for handling materials, equipment, and personnel movement on site to reduce congestion and avoid delays.
- Work with vendors and contractors to schedule deliveries in line with the overall construction program.
- Organize staging zones, laydown yards, and storage areas so materials can be handled safely, accurately, and with easy access.
- Assist with mobilizing resources by coordinating the movement of heavy equipment and site tools during different construction stages.
- Serve as the coordination point between the client, PMCM team, and contractors to align delivered assets with future operational needs.
- Support asset handover by ensuring assets are tagged, registered, and properly recorded in the client’s asset management systems.
- Keep asset records and status information up to date so stakeholders work from a consistent and reliable source of information.
- Address interface and boundary issues between contractors, work zones, and systems to reduce silos and prevent project delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, in Architecture or Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience managing logistics on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on experience with asset handover processes, including tagging, registration, and transferring manuals, warranties, and certificates into a client asset management system such as CMMS or BIM.
- Working knowledge of CMMS, BIM tools, or similar asset management platforms used for data tracking.
- Strong understanding of asset handover standards, tagging practices, and document control procedures.
- Proven ability to resolve cross-functional coordination challenges and manage stakeholder interfaces among clients, contractors, and PMCM teams.
- Professional-level English communication skills.
- Must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia and eligible for local transfer.
- Arabic proficiency is an added advantage.
