About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and well-organized Logistics Executive to manage and enhance the flow of goods, materials, and inventory within the supply chain. This position requires collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, transport providers, and warehouse personnel to ensure on-time deliveries, precise inventory control, and cost-efficient logistics management. The candidate must exhibit excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and the ability to juggle various priorities in a dynamic workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage coordination of both domestic and international shipments, schedule transportation, and track delivery progress.
  • Ensure products are delivered accurately and punctually.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and monitor movements of inventory.
  • Keep comprehensive logistics records and ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
  • Resolve issues related to deliveries and investigate discrepancies within the logistics chain, taking corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate across departments including procurement, warehouse, sales, customer service, and finance, as well as with external logistics partners.
  • Optimize inventory flow, improve order fulfillment processes, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory planning and coordinating warehouse activities.
  • Evaluate logistics performance to identify and implement strategies to reduce transportation costs and boost operational effectiveness.
  • Compile logistics reports, analyze transportation and inventory data, monitor key performance indicators, and maintain accurate records.
  • Support assessments of supplier performance and aid continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and supply chain functions.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, transportation laws, and emerging logistics technology to improve operational results and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a similar field.
  • Strong expertise in logistics operations, transportation management, inventory control, and the overall supply chain process.
  • Familiarity with shipping practices, warehouse procedures, customs documentation, and freight coordination.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, ERP software, and logistics platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for reporting and data evaluation.
  • Solid analytical abilities paired with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple shipments, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to operational accuracy and efficiency.
  • Able to work autonomously and within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong relational skills to develop productive partnerships with suppliers, logistics providers, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of logistics compliance and applicable transportation regulations.
  • Proactive in identifying process improvements and implementing operational enhancements.
  • Upholds professionalism, integrity, and responsibility in all duties.
  • Dedication to ongoing learning and staying abreast of logistics trends and technologies.
