Role Overview
This part-time, remote position is designed for an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain Assistant, or Store In-charge. The role involves managing daily logistics tasks, coordinating inventory activities, and supporting supply chain functions to ensure smooth, efficient operations. You will interact with various teams to streamline processes and support continuous business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics, inventory, and supply chain functions to align with business objectives.
- Monitor and maintain correct inventory levels, assist in stock planning and replenishment efforts.
- Work collaboratively with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely completion and delivery of orders.
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments, tracking schedules and inventory flows accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of inventories, logistics documentation, and generate operational reports.
- Analyze operational metrics to identify areas for efficiency improvement and higher service quality.
- Handle supplier coordination and address any logistics-related issues promptly.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on inventory status, logistics performance, and supply chain activities for management review.
- Provide leadership and support while encouraging collaboration within remote, cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Preferred bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background.
- At least three years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or related fields.
- Strong grasp of logistics coordination, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse workflows, stock management, and the order fulfillment process.
- Experience handling inventory reports, logistics documentation, and operational planning.
- Skilled in analyzing operational data and producing business reports.
- Capability to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain effective communication in a fully remote setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
