Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and experienced Local Home Loan Specialist to join our welcoming and cooperative team at the Caneland branch in Mackay. This role involves delivering exceptional, tailored lending assistance to both new and current Members, managing a diverse range of loan inquiries from personal and credit card loans to intricate mortgage applications. Building and maintaining trusted relationships is essential, alongside collaborating with the team to promote shared success and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personalised lending support covering personal loans, credit cards, and mortgage products.
- Working closely with the Area Manager to drive business development efforts.
- Managing loan processing and distribution tasks efficiently.
- Leading and mentoring team members to enhance skills and performance.
- Heading the mortgage retention program to ensure Members feel supported throughout their lending experience.
- Maintaining excellent communication and fostering trustworthy relationships with Members.
- Proven experience in lending services with strong sales abilities.
- Track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills combined with active listening.
- High accuracy with attention to detail.
- Proficient in mathematics and familiar with Microsoft Office programs.
- Knowledge of Queensland Country products and services is advantageous.
