Job Overview
We are looking for a live-in babysitter and household assistant to join our family in Seaforth, Sydney. This role involves full-time live-in childcare and household duties at a spacious three-story home equipped with an elevator, pool, sauna, billiards, and bar.
Location
The position is based at a single-family house in Seaforth, NSW 2092, Australia.
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated care for two young daughters aged 3 years 2 months and 1 year 11 months, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Carry out various household tasks such as laundry, garbage disposal, cleaning, cooking, and tidying up, adapting to daily needs.
Working Conditions
- Work schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (5 days a week). Days off are Monday and Thursday.
- Work hours: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
- Salary structure: Payment equals salary minus rent.
- The role is a live-in full-time job and does not include meal provision, differentiating it from au pair or demi-pair arrangements.
Accommodation
Live-in employees will be provided with a private villa-like room on the property fully equipped with a kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, shower, toilet, washing machine, bed, dining table, and Wi-Fi. The room also includes appliances such as speakers and a vacuum cleaner, ensuring a completely private living space.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in babysitting or childcare roles.
- A strong sense of responsibility and commitment, not treating the role as a casual part-time job.
- Basic English communication skills (minimal greetings level) are sufficient.
