About Bush & Bush Law Group

Bush & Bush Law Group is a reputable Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law Firm concentrated on cases involving auto accidents, semi-truck collisions, employment law, and sexual assault. We are currently inviting an experienced Litigation Paralegal, with specialized knowledge in New York law, to enhance our legal team remotely.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to foreign paralegal staff, ensuring uniformity, quality, and productivity in their tasks.
  • Independently develop and respond to discovery requests by creating customized strategies tailored to each case instead of relying on templates.
  • Prepare accurate jury charges that pinpoint the essential case elements, and use these charges to draft petitions, complaints, and focused discovery to collect critical evidence.
  • Draft comprehensive legal documents such as petitions, pleadings, and complaints for proceedings in both state and federal courts, addressing all significant legal considerations and strategies.
  • Thoroughly review and interpret discovery evidence, preparing motions to compel when necessary to ensure complete case presentation.
  • Manage court deadlines proactively, ensuring all submissions are timely and error-free.
  • Compile complete trial binders and organize materials to aid attorneys during court trials.
  • Compose legal motions with careful analysis and clear legal reasoning as required.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of paralegal experience focused on New York Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law, including complex litigation; federal filing experience preferred.
  • Proven capability to independently create and address discovery requests and tailor legal strategies from the ground up.
  • Preferred fluency in English and Spanish languages.
  • Strong skills in drafting jury charges aligned with case elements, with excellent organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership in training and supervising junior and international paralegals.
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards in a fully remote setting.

Benefits and Work Environment

  • Join a positive, innovative leadership-driven culture.
  • Contribute meaningfully to the development and success of a growing law firm.
  • Receive a competitive salary complemented by performance bonuses and benefit offerings.
  • Access opportunities for career progression and continuous professional learning.
  • Enjoy flexible working arrangements promoting a healthy work-life balance.
