Job description
About the role
This opening is for a self-driven LinkedIn Growth & Personal Branding Specialist who can establish, refine, and maintain a strong professional presence on LinkedIn. The core emphasis is not general social media work; instead, the role centers on LinkedIn audience growth, professional positioning, networking, engagement with recruiters, and increasing visibility with industry professionals and decision-makers.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and improve a professional LinkedIn profile so it presents well and performs effectively.
- Plan and carry out a strategy designed specifically for LinkedIn growth.
- Write, prepare, and publish content suited for LinkedIn’s professional audience.
- Raise visibility with recruiters, hiring managers, subject-matter professionals, and senior decision-makers.
- Research, identify, and develop relevant networking opportunities.
- Create polished connection notes, outreach messages, and follow-up communication.
- Track profile growth, post engagement, and networking results.
- Provide weekly updates with progress summaries and practical recommendations.
What the employer is looking for
The ideal candidate should already have experience managing or expanding LinkedIn profiles or pages and should understand how LinkedIn networking and engagement work in practice. Strong command of written English is essential, along with familiarity using AI tools such as ChatGPT. The person should be able to work without close supervision, take full ownership of outcomes, and bring good research and communication ability.
Selection process
Applications will be reviewed in stages. The first step is screening of the resume and portfolio. Candidates who move forward will then be asked to share their LinkedIn profile link, examples of LinkedIn profiles or pages they have managed, and a short explanation of how they would grow a professional LinkedIn profile over the next 90 days. The third stage is a paid trial assignment.
Compensation
The compensation structure includes a 3-day paid trial assignment worth ₹1,500, followed by a one-month pilot project paid at a fixed ₹10,000. In addition, performance-based incentives are available for meeting agreed growth and engagement goals, as well as for generating meaningful recruiter engagement, networking opportunities, or interview opportunities. Strong performers may be considered for a longer-term arrangement with improved pay.
Application instructions
Interested candidates should email their updated resume, LinkedIn profile link, links to LinkedIn profiles or pages they have managed, and a brief note explaining why they are a good fit for this position.
Important note
Applications that do not include LinkedIn portfolio links and relevant examples may not be taken forward.
